I love our former Presidents...

And the insignifcant holidays they provide us with. Honestly, I did not once think about our former presidents who lead our nation to greatness a single time this weekend. I think it's kinda silly that we have these seemingly reverent holidays. But hey, I'm not complaining about a 3 day weekend. :)
I love sports. This is not a new revelation for me, but I was reminded of the fact this weekend. I played multiple hours of Tennis, Soccer, and Ultimate Frisbee over the past few days and I would love to play some basketball tonight if it were going down. I do not know why I love sports so much though; it seems as if they are more harm then good. Injuries, aches and pains, loss of blood, wiggling teeth, all of which I have experienced in the last year alone from sports. Nevertheless, I play on, because I love the adrenaline rush!
I love my friends too. They are pretty cool, for the most part. Some of them make choices that appear dumb to me, but most of the time, they do a good job at life. My roommates are pretty awesome too. Today, during our showers, Luffy and I sang duets together. Some of the songs we sand included "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," "It Is Well With My Soul," and "If I were the King of the Forest," which happened to resurface on our vocal cords on several different occasions. It was great, especially when we practiced our "Frytones," even though I still have no idea what the heck those are.
Alls well that ends well, and I have class at 8 in the morning tomorrow, which never ends or beings well.

Being a Director

I had to make a really hard, very complicated decision filled with twists and turns and so many different aspects that it made my head hurt. I had to decide whether or not I wanted to run to be next year's Intramural Director. Along with that, there was also the posibility of being an RA next year or doing neither. I won't bore you with the nitty gritty details, but I finally decided that I am going to run for the Intramurl Director position. Now all I have to do is that dumb campaigning stuff :-\

Dissapointment Sucks

Once again, the team that I wanted to win the SuperBowl lost. Yes, the Patriots were probably the best team in the game, but that isn't really a good reason to root against them. I wanted to see history happen. I like Tom Brady. Alas, 18-1 isn't too shabby of a season either and they will definitely go down as one of the greatest teams in my opinion.
On the bright side, what an amazing game! It was a truly outstanding defensive display throughout the whole game. Both teams managed to hold off almost all of their scoring until the last few minutes. This caused unnecessary stress as well as appreciated excitement and anticipation. I was sad to see the Pats lose, but the satisfaction of an awesome game was well worth the loss. I can honestly say I haven't seen a better SuperBowl since the Rams beat the Titans by 1 yard. That's all.
