So for those of you who do not know, the most interesting thing that has happened to me lately is that my apartment managed to get bed bugs. After about three months of getting bit all the time and the facilities crew doing nothing about it, we managed to catch a few in a jar, took them down to facilities and were moved out of our apartment that same day. Apparently, bed bugs are almost as hard to kill as cockaroaches...
Anyways, they moved us into this almost completely empty campus house (represent Townsend 4!). Its very big. The are 3 2-person bed rooms for only 3 people living here. Not much furniture, but, praise the Lord, no bed bugs :)
Today, we got some of our clothes back. What I mean by that is, we were not allowed to bring any of our clothes into our new house until we had them dry cleaned! (Thankfully the university is paying for that, it's been $300 in dry cleaning so far). Also, they only let us bring the essentials, and the obviously non-bed bug things (i.e. we couldn't bring any backpacks, guitar cases, furniture, shoes, the one P.C. in the bedroom, etc.) So, hopefully everything gets cleaned up quickly and we can salvage the stuff out of our apartment. Meanwhile, we are enjoying the perks of living in upperclassmen housing as sophomores :)
